Why are you applying for this course?

For the ads my ads could look like. I want to stay a little longer where the burgers are better and diamonds are forever, because I’m worth it.

It's the ideas Award School rejects that make Award School the best, which is why I want to be in it: to get more out of life. No more dumb ways to die for my brain babies. It’s time to think different.

Maybe she’s born with it? Maybe it’s Award School.

Tell us about a piece of advertising you like and why you like it

I like these ads because they're simple, clever, and based on a strong insight. I think the way the sentence overlaps to deliver two different stories is a very effective way to demonstrate the line "for all life's twists and turns." To me these ads say that Swiss Life is flexible enough to accommodate the unexpected in their customer's lives.

Bad print ad

Headphone X is a new technology which is built into smartphones to give you surround sound through any headphones. Awesome product, terrible ad. I think this ad really misses the mark by focusing on the creepy extra ears. It feels like a weak and weird way to demonstrate the product benefit.

In my recreated version I used a bass clef and music note to create a simple image of an ear and headphone. The idea is that with Headphone X surround sound the music is everywhere and everything.

The idea is a giant coffee bean going off the page so its groove in the middle represents a road or drive thru.
